# Sunny Wintermax NW211 – Reliable Winter Tire for Confident Driving Engineered for dependable winter performance, the Sunny Wintermax NW211 delivers strong grip and handling on snow, ice, and cold, wet roads. Its advanced tread design helps reduce braking distances in wintry conditions, enhancing safety during seasonal driving challenges. This winter tire features a specialized rubber compound that remains flexible in low temperatures, ensuring consistent road contact and improved traction. The optimized siping pattern supports better grip on slippery surfaces, making it a solid choice for drivers seeking peace of mind during the colder months. Ideal for passenger cars and compact SUVs, the Sunny Wintermax NW211 balances performance and durability without compromising comfort. It offers reduced road noise and a smooth ride, thanks to its symmetric tread layout and robust construction. **What makes a winter tire different from an all-season tire?** Winter tires like the Sunny Wintermax NW211 use a softer rubber compound and deeper tread patterns designed to stay pliable and effective in temperatures below 7°C, providing better grip than all-season tires in snow and ice. **Are winter tires necessary if I have all-wheel drive?** Yes—while AWD improves acceleration, it doesn’t enhance braking or cornering on icy roads. Pairing AWD with dedicated winter tires significantly improves overall safety and control in winter conditions..

Great tyre and value for money
Amazing grip and breaking in any conditions. I'm aggressive and active driver with 205 BHP, and tyre never failed me. Recommended to all.

Terrible grip in dry and wet. They are dangerous due to the amount drift. I thought they were low on pressure when I first used them. Only fitted to the rear and cause back end to drift when corning at speed. I have no confidence in cornering with them.
They are okay in the snow though so if you're using only in snow they should be okay.
