07.02.2025 from David Bennett
I fitted these tyres after a Scotland trip with the existing trail type tyres, a couple of front end twitches and countless times the traction control kicked in even just on damp roads. With these tyres fitted a mix of high speed touring across France and Swiss alpine passes, prior to which some weekend riding with mates on sports bikes. Adjusted the fork preload and the tyres performed impeccably, even the day we had monsoon like rain. I had already sorted the pressures to my liking which were 36 front and 38 rear, with or without full luggage. The bike has limited adjustment on the suspension but only required a few clicks on the rear between fully loaded and rider only. I’ve always ridden sports bikes until recently but my worries about grip handling the tight switchbacks on such a heavy bike were very quickly dispelled, No real signs of wear yet I’ll have to see how they do for longevity, but no hesitation at buying these tyres again. I have Avon sport tyres on my Honda VTR SP1 and these tyres give the same feedback and a very comfortable ride. Front 110/80R19. Rear 150/70ZR17

My 35 mile commute to work was the main use of these tyres on all types of road. They feel secure in all weather conditions and are durable. I've used Avon's for years and find them good value.
10.10.2023 from Mark underhill
Ride a triumph thruxton 900 2011 and the bike has terrible weave at speed and I've spoken to various people with the same motorcycle and they all say the tyres are dangerous for this particular motorcycle
12.09.2022 from John Adamson
A good alround tyre for a classic bike that is going to be ridden at typical road speed, I am happy with the overall performance, but the wear is high, I only get 4-5000 miles from a rear tyre, on the front there is only limited wear after over 7000 miles.
11.07.2022 from David Alan Fitzpatrick

Best tire by miles in the wet, confidence inspiring, good feedback, and even if it does let go, it does it progressively and smoothly. Doesn't deal with ice and/or snow as good as they look they would, but they will get you through it, just. better than others still. In the dry, it's quite possibly the worst. Handlebars vibrate quite a bit at speeds(only in dry), at 90+mph speeds all confidence is lost, somehow it provides less feedback in the dry as well. I personally use these tires from Oct to April, then swap it to normal tires, this way I have grip all year round.

When its sunny outside and when its warm tyres are ok (not perfect but you can drive), but when the road is wet or dirty and if its colder day, its dangerous to drive there is almost no grip. I almost fell few times on normal speed (even lower than speed limit)
16.02.2022 from John firth
The front tyre ( 100x80 x17) split leaving me no choice but to buy a new one , very poor tyre .

While breaking and rear wheel stop feeling is like tyre is very stiff and sliding on wet road easier like oryginnal honda tyre.

My first tyre was recalled by Continental thru Delticom Tyres for a potential sidewall fault. The cost to fit the replacement tyre was £31.50 but Delticom only refunded me £11.60. I am out of pocket by £19.90 and Delticom will not refund this amount. The tyre is great but cannot recommend Delticom Tyres.

Bargain price , got to try out on a bike I've just rebuilt as a track day bike that I can use on the road , grip well ,cut up nice , don't seem to wear ?!?!
18.01.2019 from GH
Sportec M3 don’t give me confidence in the slightest when wet. I’ve had the rear wheel spin out on me when opening up to overtake on motorways in the wet. I’m not a light person son the bike has a good load weight but breaking is very poor in the wet too.

Had these on my r1200rt le the pair of Z6 Metzlers were fitted for a two up full lugage tour from England to Florence Italy 2500 miles round trip, motorway and all road types I was very happy with all aspects of these tyres performance and would recommend them without hesitation.
21.07.2020 from Keith
Due to Covid-19 not had a chance to do a real test. The commute to work has so far not thrown up any issues. When I purchased the bike it already had the Metzeler Roadtec Z6 tyres fitted, I did 11300km them, did not have any issues at all hence this purchase.
09.01.2019 from John King
Fitted new tyres for Trans Europe trip and experienced a wide range of driving conditions with confidence in these tyres throughout. From very hot temperatures on Italian Motorways, high rough surface on mountain passes in France, to wild windy and wet Scottish roads all with confidence at high medium and low speeds
27.09.2015 from David Mantle
Tyres need warming up properly for maximum effect. Has caught me out on a couple of occasions when not fully warmed. Otherwise a fair choice for the money but may not buy again unless cheap.

Predictable grip in the wet and dry. Seem to not wear quite as well compared to previous Bridgestones, but grip a bit better in the wet on my ‘98 GSX 750, I am not a GP rider but then again, this isn’t a ‘lightweight’ 500 twin either, when riding something like this, you have to mean it and don’t want to be let down by cheapo ‘India Rubber brands’ half way round a corner. These are far better than anything that was available when the bike was new as are all mainstream brands. So far, I can’t fault them. Generally speaking, really sticky tyres wear out quick on heavier bikes and long life tyres don’t grip. These seem to have dual compound characteristics??
14.08.2024 from Paul Knowles
Absolute perfection. These tyres inspire confidence! Superb handling and braking characteristics. The make my bike feel lighter and more agile. I run them 3psi higher than rated on my machine and they feel great. Very happy with the tyres and I’ll by them again and they have now become my go to tyre!
07.08.2024 from Marcio Cunha
I drive motorcycles around 40 years, priming for safety than sportivity. My goal is ride long kms and safe. Not for speed.
