Most of my driving is on country roads with varying conditions dry , wet , muddy and in winter snow and ice thrown into the mix . These tyres have handled everything and performed great for the price. Have had branded tyres before fitting these which cracked and perished and did not last as long .

In damp or wet on corners they handle very well but certain tarmac can feel it slide abit but not enough for you to panic but enough for you to know to back off Dry does very well like Midrange tyres depending what power car you got of course But got them on very cheap offer compare to other midrange all season they around £150 and I got theses from £130 to £98 if they wasn't on offer I wouldn't of brought them and if they needed replacing would I buy them again depends they don't go higher then £100 otherwise I get midrange tyres

Overall good tyres, sidewall is a bit too flexy and it gives very vague steering feel. The rubber is resistant to wear and can handle repeated hot laps up to 5-10 then they start to lose grip. Quite fun tyre and very safe for normal road driving.

Really poor wear. Would not buy again. Was getting near 20k miles on cheaper brands. Expected more from Firestone
21.01.2020fromJames
These tyres perform well, they're comfortable and they're quiet, but they're fragile and wear too quickly. They get punctured and damaged really easily and don't last as long as I would expect. I've had two full sets of these tyres but after yet another puncture I'm sick of constantly having to change them so I've had them all replaced with another brand. I won't buy these again and I don't recommend them.

Very good Tyre, low noise, very good in the wet.

These are a thoroughly dependable tyre and the Expert 2 (and the later Expert 3) are superb tyres. In addition to the stated vehicle I have a set on my wife's 2014 Audi A3 and our 'spare car' a 2009 Fiat Panda 4x4. They are all on all year round and have acceptable wear even in hot summers
06.02.2026fromJim Hutchinson
What makes these tyres stand out is their performance on very wet roads or standing water.
27.02.2025fromMichael Payne
I am a careful driver. Mostly urban with some motorway driving. The tyres I chose are all season. Whilst I live in Edinburgh City, when snow falls I need to drive 800m and up 2 hills in order to get to a road that is kept clear and often there are cars and a bus strewn across the road. Amazing but true. These tyres have allowed me to bypass these cars and proceed to the swept roadway. 2 times this winter. Scarcely believable that people don't know how to drive in the snow. They are sure footed in frost too.
22.01.2025fromMr Neil Richard Parnham
We have owned this car for almost 11 years now and the last 9 years have been on firstly Uniroyal MS+77 205/55 R16 91H and then for the last 3 years on AllSeason Expert 2 which is a vastly improved tyre. The latter is so much quieter and returns improved fuel consumption and I believe better grip in wintry conditions

Yokohama tyres

About the Yokohama brand

Yokohama Rubber has been around since 1917 and is based in Tokyo, Japan. Currently, The Yokohama Rubber Company, Limited is even listed on Tokyo’s stock exchange. Not only is this tyre maker about 21,500 people strong, but this brand is able to sell enough tyres to account for billions in earnings every year. You should also know that Yokohama tyres were sold as Goodrich tyres until 1937.

This was due to the fact that this company emerged as a joint venture between the B.F. Goodrich Company, which is called Goodrich Corporation today, and Yokohama Cable Manufacturing. Since 1969, Yokohama has also made its presence felt in the US. As of 1981, Goodrich did not own any parts of the Japanese tyre maker any longer. Moreover, Yokohama has been working hard to become an even more important player in the international market for tyres. For this reason, the wheel maker took over Alliance Tire Group in 2016.

Why buy Yokohama tyres?

You might be wondering what has made Yokohama one of the leading tyre brands. From the fair price-performance ratio to the solid grip and excellent fuel efficiency, there are many reasons why you might like to consider these wheels. Of course, Yokohama is also working hard on making sure that these tyres come with as low of an aquaplaning risk as possible. A long service life is yet another key tyre feature that this Japanese brand is definitely striving for in the interest of its customers.
