Identify the size of your tyre
The exact dimensions of a tyre can be found on the sidewall printed mark. The graphic shows how to read properties and dimensions of the tyre:

SPEED INDEX:
The speed index indicates the maximum speed intended for the tyre. Up to this value, the manufacturer guarantees optimum operation with the appropriate tyre pressure. The maximum speed allowed for this vehicle is given in the vehicle owner's manual; this information can be used to select the appropriate speed index for the tyre. The speed index is the last mark on the sidewall of the tyre.
 
Load Index
Permissible maximum axle load per tyre in kg. To be found in the registration certificate or vehicle registration document or read directly from the tyre (two-digit number). It is permitted to fit a tyre with a higher load index.
 
Driving safety despite puncture
Runflat tyres are puncture-resistant tyres with reinforced sidewalls. This creates the so-called run-flat property. In the event of damage, this allows the vehicle to continue driving up to a distance of approx. 100 km (and even beyond depending on the product) at a maximum speed of 80 km/h, even if the pressure has been completely lost. Run-flat tyres even prevent the tyre rubber from jumping off the rim in the event of a loss of air pressure. A flat tyre is therefore still a flat tyre, but it loses some of its drama. Note: All run-flat tyres are marked with the symbol "RSC" (Runflat System Component) and may only be fitted in vehicles with a functioning air pressure control system!
 
Tyres with increased load capacity
Reinforced tyres are designed for higher loads than normal tyres. They can be identified by the designation 'RF' (reinforced) or also 'XL' or 'Extra Load'. They are used on vans, minibuses, off-road vehicles, etc. However, their mounting alone does not automatically result in higher load capacity but also requires a correspondingly higher air pressure. Furthermore, the load capacity index specified in the vehicle documents continues to apply.
 
Tyres with extra high load capacity
The "C" in the term C tyres stands for "commercial". These tyres are specially designed for commercial vehicles. These can be, for example, lighter trucks, delivery vans, flatbed trucks or panel vans. In other words: vehicles that have to move higher loads at a comparatively lower speed. The multi-ply reinforced C tyres are therefore even more load-bearing than reinforced tyres.
 
Mobility-optimised tyres
A tyre with a sealing layer on the opposite side of the tyre tread. In the event of a puncture (e.g. by a nail), this layer blocks any loss of air, even if the foreign body causing the puncture is still in the tyre. It is not necessary to stop or change the tyres immediately at the roadside.

Most mileage usually on salt treated country &amp; city roads but have been out on untreated virgin snow. They have performed well on a wide variety of hills and steep slopes. Always felt in full control whatever the conditions. Have been buying my tyres here for over 10 years and often go for the cheapest option, but have never wished I&#39;d gone for the more expensive. Great value for money.

Very good grip in the wet/snow and icy conditions. Noise is a little louder than what i would of thought, but this is what you get from these winter tires i suppose. I recommend these tires for people who use mainly city driving, that way the noise isn&#39;t a problem.

Fitted to the vehicle already when purchased.. They are an adequate budget tyre for perhaps city driving however they are poor in the wet. Lack any feedback in more active driving and in the wet have poor grip and braking performance with significant understeer in even damp conditions with even slightly &#39;active&#39; driving. I&#39;ve removed them off the car half worn and replaced with a premium brand as I&#39;m not comfortable with their performance on mainly wet UK roads.

I bought these tires as a cheaper alternative to a Continental tire, because the grip in wet conditions was rated excellent. That seems to be true. This type of tire is designed for lower rolling resistance and increased fuel economy - often that comes with lower wet grip. Not in this case.

Hold the road well in all conditions just slightly noisy but not overly so a similar amount to a set of Avon ZZ3 had on a Volkswagen a few years ago would definitely purchase again also we&#39;re a good price for all seasons tyre and a good price.

Car now relegated to daughters using it for general use. Fairly rural roads, with. mixed road surfaces. The XL rating of the tyre &amp; tread pattern is good for going up a farm track to where the pony has stable.

4 tyres fitted to a small Kangoo van. They perform well for a slow, tough little van/car that is used for ferrying building materials and going to and from building sites. I don&#39;t drive fast or try to push the van beyond it&#39;s limits. For this purpose the tyyes are very adequate.

Drove this tyre in the hardest rain I've ever driven in on Friday 3rd July 2015 North of London those who experienced this storm will probably remember. Water was level with top of curb stones at times it was falling so heavily. It was very evident I still had control while those around me did not at times

Superb tyres these uniroyal rain tyres. Now have all our family cars on them, so no better recommendation for safety & grip. Yes, the sidewalls are a bit softer than other brands but the superb grip in all conditions outweighs this and once you get used to the feel of the slight flexing when changing direction sharply they are very predictable. Our family now have rain sports on all our cars, a mixture of RS2, RS3 & rain expert. All are superb and are great for the lower grip levels and lower temperatures encountered in Scotland.

I drive mostly in the city at low speeds however when taking to motorways in the UK I drive at 70MPH and in Europe at 75MPH. The drive is smooth and fuel economy is excellent, tyre wear is good and noise levels within the car is minimal.

Excellent safe and fun. You need to give warning when it won&rsquo;t arrive for weeks before the customer pays though. I was stuck without something suitable. It&rsquo;s not acceptable.

I chose this tyre as the design is sympathetic to my modern classic car and benefits from the advanced tyre technology and manufacturing quality of the brand owner Continental Tyres. Still riding on the original 28 year old Michelin MXV2 rubber, my main motivation in replacing the tyres was safety, but I wasn&#39;t expecting much of a change in handling. However, I am pleased to report that ride comfort, steering precision, dry road grip and ride comfort have all improved dramatically. My mileage so far is not sufficient to comment on wear or wet road grip.
