Handling it depends from road quality, but never excellent. Steering feeling is good. Breaking on dry roads insufficient, ABS function even in middle breaking situations. Very low noise,

Kumho tyres always seem very good in all areas & at a fair price. We went for the All Season Solus as my partner is a care worker & out in literally all conditions.

Second time I have bought these tyres. Just changed car and it has bigger wheels but will buy again if they come in right size

18.04.2025 from Rafał
I had them on the front from new, after 2000 miles they start generating more noise ,after 10000 miles (1 year) depth tread was 2mm. Never buy any cheap tyres again .
23.02.2025 from Ricardo Rodrigues
Good grip on dry and wet , the noise is not bad but only lasted 10k miles. All uniform wear but only lasted 10k with very smooth driving
25.11.2024 from Liam Denning
I’ve tried to push these tyres to the limit and they hold up really well. Great performance overall, doing as well as the premium priced Continentals they replaced. Well impressed!
22.08.2024 from Kevin Broderick
Really good tyres. Bought on the mechanics recommendation and I’m delighted I did. Just as good as the Michelins they replaced. Excellent grip on wet roads even at high speed.

16.11.2025 from Sith
These tyres were absolutely poor on my BMW. The car felt like alignment was off and the car had no stability, going above 60mph was a very scary experience. I removed them and put back my old continentals with 1mm tread and tested because people claimed my alignment was off, but no, it was these tyres they are terrible - nankang ns20. I removed and sold and bought a pair of pirelli p zero
24.03.2024 from Christopher
Fitted to a 140bhp front whee drive car. Taking into account these are a budget tyre, grip in the dry is good and spirited driving can be accommodated safely. Tyre in the wet is good but no tyre is safe on the limit in the wet. Because of my low mileage I cannot comment on the rate of wear but must be realistic, after all it is a budget product.
26.02.2021 from David Finlay
I was sceptical about the quality of these Nankang tyres, when I bought them I was influenced by the price, but I have been pleasantly surprised by the grip level both in the dry and wet. I like to drive quickly but not dangerously and I have felt when the tyres have been close to their limit, which is a big plus point. My only complaint would be they do tend to follow tracks in the road, but they are quite wide.
13.12.2020 from Andrew Williams
For the price I think you will struggle to find a better tyre.

29.09.2015 from Phil Hunt
Superb value for money. Outperform run flats in every respect, especially comfort.
07.09.2015 from Wayne
This tyre was chosen for the rear, a 225/45 was fitted to the front. Being lowered on eibach suspension and on aftermarket wheels this tyre set up brought back the progressive feel of the standard car as well as the ride comfort. Wheels are 8.5 front and 9.5 rears.

07.08.2020 from brendan O sullivan
Good tyres but not as good as the Michelin pilot sport 4. Will be going back to the sports.
04.12.2019 from Ali
I am a High mileage driver covering all roads day and night. This is a premium summer tyre made for dry grip and wet braking. Out of a budget , midrange and premium I’ve noted , the cheapest gives me around 6000 miles. The mid ranges cover around 12000 miles and premiums last around 18000 miles. In terms of grip it always has to be premium. These are also much quieter than budget tyres. I’ve covered 25000 miles of hard driving with these tyres and they still have around 3mm left. This is the second summer I’ve purchased these tyres. Good on price as well as grip

29.09.2019 from Lukasz Galanty
First time use Maxxis tyres, has worn on front wheels. Can’t believe that tyres from budget class, for me a lot better than previous Uniroyal Rainsport 3. Quality to price, definitely recommended, probably will use again.
01.02.2019 from Richard
These tyres are quiet and grip well in the dry. They also brake well in the wet too and have good aquaplaning resistance. Fuel economy is fine too. However, on a wet road when going around a roundabout at anything over 25mph they loose lateral grip and the car slides sideways. If you push on the power then they completely break off and the car understeers. I am used to it now and drive gently but could be a bit dangerous for those who aren't experienced drivers. Also on cold damp roads they lose traction at low speeds when turning full lock in a manouvere, sending the ESP system off. I am disappointed because of this and won't buy again or recommend.
26.01.2019 from Alan
The worst fault i have found with these tyres are cornering. Even at relatively slow speed the vehicle slides, giving up grip rather easy. They remind me of a set of Falcons a purchased a few year back. Not good. Apart from that, an all round decent cheap tyre. Previous tyre i had on Accord were Michelon. A hard act to follow but at £185 a corner !!!!
09.12.2018 from Cristian

A good value tyre, fit and forget - unremarkable but not in a bad way. They're only vice is they're not terribly puncture resistant and one has had to be replaced rather than repaired
02.11.2024 from CF
On my second set of these tyres, excellent grip and handling. Good in the wet too
26.09.2024 from CB
I replaced the original MG4 Continental tyres with these Yokohamas after about 20,000 miles. These new tyres have so much better grip in all weathers. These new ones are however a little less comfortable on UK road surfaces (which causes more road noise) as the Continentals were really comfortable with little road noise.
06.10.2023 from Victor
On wet roads, the cornering capability is reduced compared to Bridgestones, however these tyres cost 30% less. All in all, for mixed driving, it’s a great all rounder, especially since it’s very reasonably priced. A decent everyday tyre. We’ll see how long it lasts, but seems promising, so far. Noise level is quite low too.

Quite frankly I thought they wouldn't be as good as certain high end brands but to my surprise and delight they are better, the grip really well aren't loud and do the job, fuel consumption wise they are on par with my Goodyear and continental tyres I've had in the past and at least half the price
