When I bought the car in September last year it had recently been fitted with Kumho Ecsta PS71. These were quite skippy on the wet roads despite being marketed as a good performer in wet conditions. Since fitting the CrossClimate 2's I have had far better grip in the wet and winter conditions. We have had loads of rain, flooded roads then ice and then a week of snow. These tyres give confidence in these conditions and help improve the safety of your drive in those conditions. Will buy again.

When I bought my BMW 3 series I had off brand summer tyres on it. I bought Michelin Crossclimate 2 tyres for it and noticed the difference in the handling on dry roads immediately. The car was much firmer and secure on the road when driving at speed. When driving in the torrential wet I found these tyres to struggle a bit but general rain fall they are fine. Took a year and a half before I got serious snow to test them in. I had to drive home 30 miles on rural roads at 5am with no snow tracks to help and to make things harder I was in a rear wheel BMW. These tyres handle it perfectly, they are incredible in snow. Finally, I am a year and a half/ 10000 miles into them and they easy have another 7K/8K worth of miles in them. 5 stars all round, I'm buying them again no question.
24.04.2022fromLen
Grip on wet roads is excellent. No snow since purchase, so can only estimate it as very good. Comfortable ride, but slightly noisier than a regular tyre. Car handles very well on the Crossclimates.

Feels solid and well placed on road, grip good no snow yet to assess but good in wet.
01.06.2022fromRJ and T
Initially nervous about changing brand from the fitted ones but needn't have worried. As with other cars we have used these on it is a huge improvement and we would buy the same again.
27.03.2021fromMichael Chapman
Probably the best tyres I have used. Comfortable and safe handling in all weather conditions here in Scotland hot summer, wet semi flooded and deep snow during the time owned. The best feature of these tyres on my vehicle is the feeling of safety and confidence with the Crossclimate + fitted
20.03.2021fromKevin Bates
I found this tire to be one of the best all round tires available. No matter the weather the car always felt sure footed. My Octavia was the Vrs model so had plenty of horsepower to transmit, and the Cross Climates made easy work of doing that. High speed driving was safe and quiet as was cornering. A fabulous tire! Only regret is the limited sizes because I can't get them to fit my Fabia Monte Carlo Estate else I would be running them on that as well.

Car now relegated to daughters using it for general use. Fairly rural roads, with. mixed road surfaces. The XL rating of the tyre & tread pattern is good for going up a farm track to where the pony has stable.

4 tyres fitted to a small Kangoo van. They perform well for a slow, tough little van/car that is used for ferrying building materials and going to and from building sites. I don't drive fast or try to push the van beyond it's limits. For this purpose the tyyes are very adequate.

First time I have used Accelera and first time with All Seasons. Was expecting to sacrifice some fuel economy and notice increased noise especially as is a hybrid. Very happy to find neither has been the case, in fact the noise was lower than previous tyres. Fuel economy has not suffered. I have driven in snow and was amazed at how they gripped even when braking normally, although the car is AWD. Have had to break very suddenly on 2 occasions and was able to do so with absolute confidence. Car handled noticeably better when cornering and comfort was good also. Hope these aren't discontinued as will be sticking with them when need replacing.

Excellent budget choice, very good for all round safe driving at any speed. No issues at all on any road conditions throughout the year. Including on snow, ice or mud. Half the price of cross climates with 90% of their performance within all road conditions.

Being a driving instructor, safety is paramount and have extremely satisfied with these tyres. In snow also.

Michelin All-Season Tyres - First-Class Quality and High Performance

Michelin tyres and with them, the Michelin all-season tyres are characterised by the first-class quality and high performance. The rubber compounds of this brand’s products are known for their excellent traction - even in aquaplaning - and also convince by their resistance to high temperatures.

Also, the tyres of the French manufacturer are among the energy saving ones and are therefore exceptionally environmentally aware. Michelin is also the tyre manufacturer with the most titles in Formula 1.

Michelin Tyres

Although Michelin does not want to hear or speak of the word all-seasons, the Michelin CrossClimate tyre is the first summer tyre from the manufacturer certified for use in winter conditions. With it, you can climb snowy slopes of up to nine percent incline, which makes it the best all-purpose tyre on the market. How does the Michelin CrossClimate tyre get to be as effective on the dry and wet ground in both summer and winter? Thanks to the fusion of summer and winter tyre technologies, the CrossClimate allows you to drive safely in both seasons and, therefore, without changing your tyres mid-year.

Michelin is the second largest tyre manufacturer in the world. The company was founded in 1889 by the brothers André and Edouard Michelin. The first successes quickly set in, and the assortment of tyre manufacturer could be continuously expanded.

Numerous patents go to the account of Michelin, whose company logo has a high profile. In addition to tyres, guides and roadmaps are now being produced by Michelin. International top restaurants regularly find Michelin's Michelin Guide.

Since 2007 it holds the record for the largest tyre manufactured, it is the 59 / 80R63 tyres used in mining excavation. Each of the four tyres weighs 10,000 pounds, is 177 inches in diameter and 58 inches wide.

Michelin tyres are now successfully sold in more than 170 countries worldwide. In total, the company employs around 127,000 people. Michelin's headquarters are in Clermont-Ferrand, France. The Group has a Technology Center in charge of research, development and process engineering, with operations in Europe, North America and Asia.

The all-season tyres from Michelin are available at Tyres-Outlet.co.uk at fair prices. Benefit from our offer and drive comfortably and safely all year long.
