Identify the size of your tyre
The exact dimensions of a tyre can be found on the sidewall printed mark. The graphic shows how to read properties and dimensions of the tyre:

/
SPEED INDEX:
The speed index indicates the maximum speed intended for the tyre. Up to this value, the manufacturer guarantees optimum operation with the appropriate tyre pressure. The maximum speed allowed for this vehicle is given in the vehicle owner's manual; this information can be used to select the appropriate speed index for the tyre. The speed index is the last mark on the sidewall of the tyre.

Load Index
Permissible maximum axle load per tyre in kg. To be found in the registration certificate or vehicle registration document or read directly from the tyre (two-digit number). It is permitted to fit a tyre with a higher load index.

Driving safety despite puncture
Runflat tyres are puncture-resistant tyres with reinforced sidewalls. This creates the so-called run-flat property. In the event of damage, this allows the vehicle to continue driving up to a distance of approx. 100 km (and even beyond depending on the product) at a maximum speed of 80 km/h, even if the pressure has been completely lost. Run-flat tyres even prevent the tyre rubber from jumping off the rim in the event of a loss of air pressure. A flat tyre is therefore still a flat tyre, but it loses some of its drama. Note: All run-flat tyres are marked with the symbol "RSC" (Runflat System Component) and may only be fitted in vehicles with a functioning air pressure control system!

Tyres with increased load capacity
Reinforced tyres are designed for higher loads than normal tyres. They can be identified by the designation 'RF' (reinforced) or also 'XL' or 'Extra Load'. They are used on vans, minibuses, off-road vehicles, etc. However, their mounting alone does not automatically result in higher load capacity but also requires a correspondingly higher air pressure. Furthermore, the load capacity index specified in the vehicle documents continues to apply.

Tyres with extra high load capacity
The "C" in the term C tyres stands for "commercial". These tyres are specially designed for commercial vehicles. These can be, for example, lighter trucks, delivery vans, flatbed trucks or panel vans. In other words: vehicles that have to move higher loads at a comparatively lower speed. The multi-ply reinforced C tyres are therefore even more load-bearing than reinforced tyres.

Mobility-optimised tyres
A tyre with a sealing layer on the opposite side of the tyre tread. In the event of a puncture (e.g. by a nail), this layer blocks any loss of air, even if the foreign body causing the puncture is still in the tyre. It is not necessary to stop or change the tyres immediately at the roadside.

Tyres optimised for electric vehicles.
Tyre developed for electric vehicles. These tyres can also be used without hesitation on vehicles with other drive systems.

I thought about trying to get a refund. They make a terrible rumbling noise is one or two psi off optimum. Never had a tyre do that before.

Smooth driving. Lowered noise levels compared to other snow tyres purchased in the past. Good speed rating(driven through Germany on Autobahn) Good grip on wet roads/motorway
03.12.2023 from Mustafa
The tire behaves excellent on both dry and wet roads. Especially on snowy/icy roads it does its job really great. It's a truly price/performance tire and would definitely recommend to buyers.
03.12.2021 from Doogride
Noisy piece of crap. Above 110km/h changes your vehicle into vibrating boat you cannot steer safely on highway. First and last Goodride (Westlake) that I ever purchased. Avoid that chinese garbage!
23.04.2020 from Richard
Fine in most conditions though slightly more wallow. Excellent grip on icy roads truly amazing grip in snow!

Landsail tyres

Find out more about this Chinese tyre maker

Landsail is part of Sentury Tire, which was formerly known as the Sentaida Group. This tyre maker has been around since 1992. The Chinese company not only manufactures affordable wheels for cars, but is active in the aviation sector as well. Apart from marketing its wheels as Landsail tyres, Sentury Tire also sells its products as part of the Delinte brand. As of 2015, Sentury Tire was among the top 50 tyre makers in the world (by size). Its Thai factory alone is able to produce about 12 million wheels per year, which goes to show how big the demand for these tyres really is. In the future, Sentury Tire is also planning on branching out to other countries and opening production facilities outside of Asia in order to cater to its customers abroad. While this brand has been producing passenger car tyres since its beginnings, it only started manufacturing aviation wheels in 2013.

Plenty of tyre options

Whether you are looking for affordable tyres for city use or ultra-high performance tyres, Landsail has your back. Its tyre catalogue has grown significantly in recent years in order to be better able to cater to the needs of Landsail customers. This Asian tyre brand even specialises in SUV and 4-season tyres, which are meant to keep you safe all year long. From snowy to wet roads, you can count on Landsail!
