Have tried lots of different snow tyres over years and put these on my 3 series touring to replace the Pirelli zero’s. If anything I thought they ran quieter than the zero’s and plenty of grip in both dry and wet conditions. Used the in snow as well and kept everything moving which is all you want from a snow tyre.

As my Volvo is a rear wheel drive automatic I always use winter tyres. Previously had Goodyear ultra grip 9 and still have them on the front. New Goodyear ultra grip 3 on rear. We're great in the recent snow, where front wheel drives were getting stuck, no doubt on summer tyres.
11.01.2025fromAndy Duff
An extremely sure-footed winter tyre that blurs the transition from my summer to winter wheels. As good as it gets.

Excellent driving experience on these tyres. They feel safe, sturdy and solid on the road in heat, heavy rain, slippery roads due to mud, country roads, uneven and good surfaces, I have not yet tried in snow or ice. To any walkers reading this, they feel like vibram soles for my car!

I don't drive the car hard but even so these tyres have lasted a long time with even wear and still at least 4mm left after 15k. I would prefer more comfort but this is probably due to the 18 inch wheels and not the tyres. They do tramline a bit but I cannot compare to any other brand.
30.11.2011fromKeith Farrow
capable, but for the price there are far better tyres out there. Had PS2's and Conti's before, both gave much sharper handling. The P Zeros seem to wander, and tramline a lot.

First 15.000 kms tyre is fine, good grip on dry, very good comfort. grip in snow is worthless. braking in wet conditions deteriorates fast after 15.000 kms. at 30.000 kms (and this is for the second time) all 4 tyres (I have FWD, and did not swap front/after) are deformed. driving between 90kmh and 140kmh gives knocking sound. Drinving 105-110kmh makes car shake. Pirelli already changed me 4 tyres and I got 2 for free because of this problem. Now I'm 32.000kms futher and it's the same problem all over again. I am not a sporty driver, and it's too bad I did not know this site earlier. I would never hace let pirelli put me 4 new tyres. Even at 2 for free it's expensive per km.

Just avoid, unless you live in Finland or something. Driving in WET and Dry, just terrible grip and I have a 4x4 Subaru with LSD. It's shocking really. Unless you drive really slow, it's OK then, but come roundabout they just don't grip doesn't matter wet or dry. Good in snow, but it should be at least good in wet as well and OK in dry, but It's crap in both wet and dry, so not good for me, will not buy again.
05.06.2019fromAsh
I didn't get these on until Feb/Mar when worst of the weather had passed. Driven on main roads & motorways at temps between 3°c and 16°c in mixed weather without problems. Obviously they were less responsive at the higher temps but never felt dangerous. No sign of wear at all. Dry road grip when accelerating lost traction a bit too easily but cornering was predictable.

Slightly noisier at low speeds than I had expected (my Cooper winter tyres are quieter) although the relative noise abates at higher speeds. They're pretty firm on bumpy roads where I drive most often. Superb for motorway driving in terms of low noise and excellent ride comfort.
01.08.2020fromRob
Great wearing tyre, plenty of grip in the wet and dry. Wearing better the Goodyear F1's I had on the car before. Will definitely buy again.
29.04.2020fromMr Doorbar
These tyres were OE on my 2017 Passat Estate so I stuck with the same when it came to replacing the fronts. I'm still on the original rears. The fronts did around 24K miles while the tread left of the rears gives me around another 10K at least. However, the tyres walls on the rear have slight cracking even though they haven't been curbed and if get worst it will become an MOT failure at the cars first MOT this year. The one area where these tyres are weakest are the road noise. I'm sure there are quieter tyres out there but they may be weaker in other areas. On the whole these Pirellis are more than suitable for any family car.
15.01.2019fromGlynne Gianelli
Seems quieter and more comfortable. Grip very good and economy improved as well.

Noted an increase in millage from tje start, also noticed a noise reduction while driving. Good grip and reduced roll. All in all a good upgrade for electric cars.
10.06.2021fromAnthony Hibbs
I bought these tyres as they are the only ones on the market that claim to be specifically designed for electric vehicles and are carbon neutral in their manufacture. Lots of claims made by Michelin regarding low noise levels, grip, wear and increased range. I can confirm that the tyres live up to these claims in all respects. I have driven around 1200 miles in mixed road and weather conditions and have been very impressed. My eGolf was always a quiet car, but now it’s almost silent with little or no road noise below 50mph. Braking and handling in wet or dry, good roads or bad, is exceptional. My average range previously was around 150 miles from a full charge, now it’s 160 miles, remarkable. I absolutely recommend these tyres for electric vehicles.
