Summer tyres - optimal grip guaranteed!
On dry roads or mild weather, your tyres have to face some increased demands and must always meet safety standards. Compared to winter tyres, the rubber mixture of the summer tyres is harder, even in high temperatures. Identify the size of your tyre
The exact dimensions of a tyre can be found on the sidewall printed mark. The graphic shows how to read properties and dimensions of the tyre:

SPEED INDEX:
The speed index indicates the maximum speed intended for the tyre. Up to this value, the manufacturer guarantees optimum operation with the appropriate tyre pressure. The maximum speed allowed for this vehicle is given in the vehicle owner's manual; this information can be used to select the appropriate speed index for the tyre. The speed index is the last mark on the sidewall of the tyre.
 
Load Index
Permissible maximum axle load per tyre in kg. To be found in the registration certificate or vehicle registration document or read directly from the tyre (two-digit number). It is permitted to fit a tyre with a higher load index.
 
Driving safety despite puncture
Runflat tyres are puncture-resistant tyres with reinforced sidewalls. This creates the so-called run-flat property. In the event of damage, this allows the vehicle to continue driving up to a distance of approx. 100 km (and even beyond depending on the product) at a maximum speed of 80 km/h, even if the pressure has been completely lost. Run-flat tyres even prevent the tyre rubber from jumping off the rim in the event of a loss of air pressure. A flat tyre is therefore still a flat tyre, but it loses some of its drama. Note: All run-flat tyres are marked with the symbol "RSC" (Runflat System Component) and may only be fitted in vehicles with a functioning air pressure control system!
 
Tyres with increased load capacity
Reinforced tyres are designed for higher loads than normal tyres. They can be identified by the designation 'RF' (reinforced) or also 'XL' or 'Extra Load'. They are used on vans, minibuses, off-road vehicles, etc. However, their mounting alone does not automatically result in higher load capacity but also requires a correspondingly higher air pressure. Furthermore, the load capacity index specified in the vehicle documents continues to apply.
 
Tyres with extra high load capacity
The "C" in the term C tyres stands for "commercial". These tyres are specially designed for commercial vehicles. These can be, for example, lighter trucks, delivery vans, flatbed trucks or panel vans. In other words: vehicles that have to move higher loads at a comparatively lower speed. The multi-ply reinforced C tyres are therefore even more load-bearing than reinforced tyres.
 
Mobility-optimised tyres
A tyre with a sealing layer on the opposite side of the tyre tread. In the event of a puncture (e.g. by a nail), this layer blocks any loss of air, even if the foreign body causing the puncture is still in the tyre. It is not necessary to stop or change the tyres immediately at the roadside.

Original equipment quality: optimum adjustment to the vehicle
Tyres with a special OEM marking on the sidewall, e.g. "MO" for Mercedes-Benz, were developed in cooperation with a specific car manufacturer and the tyre industry. These tyres have been homologated by the vehicle manufacturer and are a perfect match for a specific model. They have been specially designed to highlight or further improve the performance characteristics of the car in question, thus representing the culmination of a state-of-the-art fine-tuning process that perfectly complements the latest technological developments in the automotive industry. Tyres with manufacturer's markings can of course also be used on other vehicles.

The experience was not that bad with this tyres except the fact that i should change them after 30-35 000 km. They are not that quiet it should be, the consumption of the car was lower than the competion but the tyre wear is not ok.

Driving within my own ability and the ability of the vehicle I choose to drive is what I do. The tyres on my car are part of the interface between driver and road. I prefer to drive with the tyres fully inflated in order to feel the feedback from the surface of the road through noise, suspension and steering, I ballance throttle and brake response with weather conditions, road conditions and temperature. Tyres with less grip just dictate that I should moderate speed and braking at an increased rate. Noisey tyres provide slightly better feedback than silent tyres. The road with current traffic congestion burden isnt the place for performance spirited driving but is the place where defensive driving must be used. I would describe my tyres as competent.

Unlike some who write stuff thinking they&#39;re lewis hamilton, im not, but im no miss daisy either. Ive driven it pretty hard at times and whatever has been thrown at these tyres, wet or dry, they have stood up to it. Not a hint of losing it. Exactly what you expect, from mid range premium make tyres.

These are the B-Silent Model and they were 235/55 R19 105Y but this system will not let me specify 55 height. These tyres are absolutely brilliant! I fitted them on the rear and they stopped the road noise from the rear completely. I just wish I had not fitted something different to the front previously, as soon as the fronts wear out I will change to these. I have had no problem with grip, despite racing others around roundabouts.

I am a High mileage driver covering all roads day and night. This is a premium summer tyre made for dry grip and wet braking. Out of a budget , midrange and premium I&rsquo;ve noted , the cheapest gives me around 6000 miles. The mid ranges cover around 12000 miles and premiums last around 18000 miles. In terms of grip it always has to be premium. These are also much quieter than budget tyres. I&rsquo;ve covered 25000 miles of hard driving with these tyres and they still have around 3mm left. This is the second summer I&rsquo;ve purchased these tyres. Good on price as well as grip

These tyres in my rear wheel drive BMW are grippy in the dry, but leave me yearning for more in the wet. The car will &quot;step-out&quot; if I punch it whilst the road is even midly damp. My tracking was done at the same time as having these fitted so that is not a factor. The car will also step out if the road is more greasy looking.

The car was supplied to me with brand new Triangle tyres - a brand I had not heard of and was not one I would have gone for but in the year that I have had them on the car, I have no complaint about their performance. Damn right dangerous... had these put on less than 6 months ago, and if you drive in a slightly spirited manner the lack of grip is phenomenal. 30mph bends leave you requiring replacement underwear. And it just gets worse in the wet. Braking distances are terrible in both wet and dry, but they are comfy for 45&#39;s. These are a drift tyre in my opinion, cheap and grip less. I only have 150bhp apread across all four wheels and they still slide, I wouldn&#39;t recommend them on anything with more than 100 ponies. And if its slightly moist or greasy out, you better be good at throttle control and counter steering... at low speeds they are perfectly acceptable, but if you like to put your foot down abit I&#39;d spend some more money, we don&#39;t scrimp on safety.
