All season tyres - suitable for all weather conditions
All-season tyres are the perfect combination between summer and winter tyres. All-season tyres impress by their good driving qualities regardless the weather conditions and the road. The specially developed profile of all-season tyres ensures a comfortable drive throughout the whole year. All-season tyres were specifically designed for all weather conditions thus eliminating the need to change the tyres depending on the season. The all-season tyres designed for winter conditions need to have the "M + S" marking (or M & S, MS). Some models may also have the snowflake symbol. Identify the size of your tyre
The exact dimensions of a tyre can be found on the sidewall printed mark. The graphic shows how to read properties and dimensions of the tyre:

SPEED INDEX:
The speed index indicates the maximum speed intended for the tyre. Up to this value, the manufacturer guarantees optimum operation with the appropriate tyre pressure. The maximum speed allowed for this vehicle is given in the vehicle owner's manual; this information can be used to select the appropriate speed index for the tyre. The speed index is the last mark on the sidewall of the tyre.
 
Load Index
Permissible maximum axle load per tyre in kg. To be found in the registration certificate or vehicle registration document or read directly from the tyre (two-digit number). It is permitted to fit a tyre with a higher load index.
 
Driving safety despite puncture
Runflat tyres are puncture-resistant tyres with reinforced sidewalls. This creates the so-called run-flat property. In the event of damage, this allows the vehicle to continue driving up to a distance of approx. 100 km (and even beyond depending on the product) at a maximum speed of 80 km/h, even if the pressure has been completely lost. Run-flat tyres even prevent the tyre rubber from jumping off the rim in the event of a loss of air pressure. A flat tyre is therefore still a flat tyre, but it loses some of its drama. Note: All run-flat tyres are marked with the symbol "RSC" (Runflat System Component) and may only be fitted in vehicles with a functioning air pressure control system!
 
Tyres with increased load capacity
Reinforced tyres are designed for higher loads than normal tyres. They can be identified by the designation 'RF' (reinforced) or also 'XL' or 'Extra Load'. They are used on vans, minibuses, off-road vehicles, etc. However, their mounting alone does not automatically result in higher load capacity but also requires a correspondingly higher air pressure. Furthermore, the load capacity index specified in the vehicle documents continues to apply.
 
Tyres with extra high load capacity
The "C" in the term C tyres stands for "commercial". These tyres are specially designed for commercial vehicles. These can be, for example, lighter trucks, delivery vans, flatbed trucks or panel vans. In other words: vehicles that have to move higher loads at a comparatively lower speed. The multi-ply reinforced C tyres are therefore even more load-bearing than reinforced tyres.
 
Mobility-optimised tyres
A tyre with a sealing layer on the opposite side of the tyre tread. In the event of a puncture (e.g. by a nail), this layer blocks any loss of air, even if the foreign body causing the puncture is still in the tyre. It is not necessary to stop or change the tyres immediately at the roadside.

Incredibly capable tyre for all conditions, but my experience on the roads in West Yorkshire will probably dictate that I don&#39;t purchase these tyres again as they are too soft on the sidewall, they do need some sort of protective band. The roads a terrible around Haworth for potholes, and in this case I could not dodge one and it has ripped the sidewall and damaged the rim, rendering the tyre scrap.

After using Michelin tires for the past 20 years model PS4, ENGERY SAVER, the cross climates on this vito crew sport, the tire life has being shocking, 8,000 miles and there so expensive 1k a set, so decided to give the Goodyear&#39;s ago, I&#39;m was shocked at how well these are performing, the ride is so much better, the Michelins have straight side walls, which ride very hard, you feel every bump..... Goodyear&#39;s ride comfort, life and grip has been amazing I&#39;ve done 17,000 miles and there is still life on the rear tires, id say there will do 22,000, and an set of these is 600 quid.... see you later Michelin, all my vans and cars are going Goodyears.....

This is the second time I have bought a full set of these tyres. I mostly drive on motorways, country roads and off road. My fuel efficiency went up when I put on my first set. The ride is more comfortable and the grip is excellent in dry and wet weather. They have performed well on snow. Despite being all weather the rate of wear is very good. I would definitely buy them again.

My tyre size was 205 55 16 but not in the list! Unbelieveble in wet surface but average on dry breaking. Good aquaplanning and snow traction. Good comfort but average noise.

Tires keep the vehicle nicely on the road, no traction problems. On ice British roads they perform great no problems stopping or going.

The tires are much more supple than the OEM Bridgestone Ecopias. Ride is much improved. Wear seems better. Ecopias have little tread depth. No discernible change in economy. A great tyre and at about half the price. Have already bought another set for the future in case Dunlops become in short supply!

My previous tyre did not have a great hold in the wet, particularity around roundabouts. The difference with these tyres is unreal, and the grip is brilliant.

Excellent all round performance especially on wet and icy roads. Only complaint is that tyres do tend to tramline on ridges on wet roads but not a major problem.

Very good on flooded roads Tyres fitted on AWD vehicle Wear rate on front axle O.210mm/1000km was a bit surprising v back axle 0.110mm/1000km however not sure if a relatively dry summer influenced this

I began using these tires last winter and drove them all over Europe, on both dry and snow-covered roads, including motorways and countryside routes. So far, I have driven approximately 7,000 km on them and have not encountered any issues. They perform reliably on snow, as well as on dry and wet surfaces. The noise level from the tires does not seem to be louder than that of other tires, although this may vary depending on the type of car you drive and its level of quietness. Additionally, the price was reasonable. Therefore, I will definitely consider purchasing these tires again in the future.

The tyres have good performance, of course the UK speed limit of 113km/h does not allow for a better test of the tyres on wet roads.

Car now relegated to daughters using it for general use. Fairly rural roads, with. mixed road surfaces. The XL rating of the tyre &amp; tread pattern is good for going up a farm track to where the pony has stable.

4 tyres fitted to a small Kangoo van. They perform well for a slow, tough little van/car that is used for ferrying building materials and going to and from building sites. I don&#39;t drive fast or try to push the van beyond it&#39;s limits. For this purpose the tyyes are very adequate.

Such an amazing tyre from Yokohama. Equally as good, if not better, than both Uniroyal and Yokohama winter tyres that I have used in the past. So much quieter too than winter tyres. Top rated traction on both snow and ice. I have passed taxi drivers and over enthusiastic prestige German car drivers trying to go up steep snow covered hills as the Yokohama BluEarth-4S AW21 just kept on going with confidence and tenacious grip. I would swear blind that my humble Skoda Octavia Combi was a 4 x 4 rather than FWD! I understand that this tyre is TUV Sud approved and I can totally as to understand why. Such good valve tyres so go and purchase some, you will not regret it!

Normal driving. Less than a year and 15.000klm the tyres have loose the grip on wet conditions.

I am using xl 97v 205 55 16. Tyre is really good in terms of driving dynamics either in snow or dry. I am more satisfied then my hankook summer tyres installed by the car manufacturer in hot weather and did not observe any weakness in snow. No effect on fuel consumption. No sign of unusual wear. It shows little weakness in aquaplaning. Its major down side is noise. If the road surface is good noise level is acceptable , but as the surface gets worse noise levels becomes unbearable. Moreover I was very satisfied in terms of road noise with my older summer tyres of which have noise level rating of 71db. I would definitely by it for a better road noise insulated car but not with my current car.

Most of my driving is on country roads with varying conditions dry , wet , muddy and in winter snow and ice thrown into the mix . These tyres have handled everything and performed great for the price. Have had branded tyres before fitting these which cracked and perished and did not last as long .

In damp or wet on corners they handle very well but certain tarmac can feel it slide abit but not enough for you to panic but enough for you to know to back off Dry does very well like Midrange tyres depending what power car you got of course But got them on very cheap offer compare to other midrange all season they around &pound;150 and I got theses from &pound;130 to &pound;98 if they wasn&#39;t on offer I wouldn&#39;t of brought them and if they needed replacing would I buy them again depends they don&#39;t go higher then &pound;100 otherwise I get midrange tyres
