Summer tyres - optimal grip guaranteed!
On dry roads or mild weather, your tyres have to face some increased demands and must always meet safety standards. Compared to winter tyres, the rubber mixture of the summer tyres is harder, even in high temperatures. Identify the size of your tyre
The exact dimensions of a tyre can be found on the sidewall printed mark. The graphic shows how to read properties and dimensions of the tyre:

SPEED INDEX:
The speed index indicates the maximum speed intended for the tyre. Up to this value, the manufacturer guarantees optimum operation with the appropriate tyre pressure. The maximum speed allowed for this vehicle is given in the vehicle owner's manual; this information can be used to select the appropriate speed index for the tyre. The speed index is the last mark on the sidewall of the tyre.
 
Load Index
Permissible maximum axle load per tyre in kg. To be found in the registration certificate or vehicle registration document or read directly from the tyre (two-digit number). It is permitted to fit a tyre with a higher load index.
 
Driving safety despite puncture
Runflat tyres are puncture-resistant tyres with reinforced sidewalls. This creates the so-called run-flat property. In the event of damage, this allows the vehicle to continue driving up to a distance of approx. 100 km (and even beyond depending on the product) at a maximum speed of 80 km/h, even if the pressure has been completely lost. Run-flat tyres even prevent the tyre rubber from jumping off the rim in the event of a loss of air pressure. A flat tyre is therefore still a flat tyre, but it loses some of its drama. Note: All run-flat tyres are marked with the symbol "RSC" (Runflat System Component) and may only be fitted in vehicles with a functioning air pressure control system!
 
Tyres with increased load capacity
Reinforced tyres are designed for higher loads than normal tyres. They can be identified by the designation 'RF' (reinforced) or also 'XL' or 'Extra Load'. They are used on vans, minibuses, off-road vehicles, etc. However, their mounting alone does not automatically result in higher load capacity but also requires a correspondingly higher air pressure. Furthermore, the load capacity index specified in the vehicle documents continues to apply.
 
Tyres with extra high load capacity
The "C" in the term C tyres stands for "commercial". These tyres are specially designed for commercial vehicles. These can be, for example, lighter trucks, delivery vans, flatbed trucks or panel vans. In other words: vehicles that have to move higher loads at a comparatively lower speed. The multi-ply reinforced C tyres are therefore even more load-bearing than reinforced tyres.
 
Mobility-optimised tyres
A tyre with a sealing layer on the opposite side of the tyre tread. In the event of a puncture (e.g. by a nail), this layer blocks any loss of air, even if the foreign body causing the puncture is still in the tyre. It is not necessary to stop or change the tyres immediately at the roadside.

Original equipment quality: optimum adjustment to the vehicle
Tyres with a special OEM marking on the sidewall, e.g. "MO" for Mercedes-Benz, were developed in cooperation with a specific car manufacturer and the tyre industry. These tyres have been homologated by the vehicle manufacturer and are a perfect match for a specific model. They have been specially designed to highlight or further improve the performance characteristics of the car in question, thus representing the culmination of a state-of-the-art fine-tuning process that perfectly complements the latest technological developments in the automotive industry. Tyres with manufacturer's markings can of course also be used on other vehicles.

Tyres are fine apart from one problem, the rears on a motorway are just really noisy at speed when they get down to around 4mm of tread, so much so that I thought it was a wheel bearing issue, and checked them out, they appeared to be OK, when I fitted new rear tyres the noise disappeared

Fairly good on dry roads, let you know in advance when you are pushing near its limits (they &ldquo;scream&rdquo; loud and clear); the braking is pretty good also On wet roads they are a pain in the butt: lots of wheel spinning (yes, in a Sharan!! Looks like a fwd sports car) whenever you want to put the car in motion, loads of &ldquo;fun&rdquo; on the curves and aquaplanning guaranteed. Braking not that bad Would buy again because of the price IF it didn&rsquo;t rain!! &#x1F602;

Excellent driving experience on these tyres. They feel safe, sturdy and solid on the road in heat, heavy rain, slippery roads due to mud, country roads, uneven and good surfaces, I have not yet tried in snow or ice. To any walkers reading this, they feel like vibram soles for my car!

These Trazano Z107 tyres were initially adequate as budget tyres but over time they have become noisy at speed and wet grip is now atrocious - with 5mm of tread still on the tyre. A regrettable purchase. I will revert to my usual Pirelli Cinturato which performed admirably right down to the tread wear markers. Lesson learned.

Just a brilliant all round tyre for the price point, been using them on my VW and parents cars for a good few years, mileage out them is not great if you drive on the limit all the time, but they inspire that as they grip very will in the dry and the wet, as per usual Cooper tyres have always been good on british roast with typical british weather - Also part of the Avon tyre lot, associated Chinese brands are Superia, Austone, Fortune etc, if it&#39;s B or A rated for wet you can almost guarantee it to be the case these days.
