Identify the size of your tyre
The exact dimensions of a tyre can be found on the sidewall printed mark. The graphic shows how to read properties and dimensions of the tyre:

SPEED INDEX:
The speed index indicates the maximum speed intended for the tyre. Up to this value, the manufacturer guarantees optimum operation with the appropriate tyre pressure. The maximum speed allowed for this vehicle is given in the vehicle owner's manual; this information can be used to select the appropriate speed index for the tyre. The speed index is the last mark on the sidewall of the tyre.
 
Load Index
Permissible maximum axle load per tyre in kg. To be found in the registration certificate or vehicle registration document or read directly from the tyre (two-digit number). It is permitted to fit a tyre with a higher load index.
 
Driving safety despite puncture
Runflat tyres are puncture-resistant tyres with reinforced sidewalls. This creates the so-called run-flat property. In the event of damage, this allows the vehicle to continue driving up to a distance of approx. 100 km (and even beyond depending on the product) at a maximum speed of 80 km/h, even if the pressure has been completely lost. Run-flat tyres even prevent the tyre rubber from jumping off the rim in the event of a loss of air pressure. A flat tyre is therefore still a flat tyre, but it loses some of its drama. Note: All run-flat tyres are marked with the symbol "RSC" (Runflat System Component) and may only be fitted in vehicles with a functioning air pressure control system!
 
Tyres with increased load capacity
Reinforced tyres are designed for higher loads than normal tyres. They can be identified by the designation 'RF' (reinforced) or also 'XL' or 'Extra Load'. They are used on vans, minibuses, off-road vehicles, etc. However, their mounting alone does not automatically result in higher load capacity but also requires a correspondingly higher air pressure. Furthermore, the load capacity index specified in the vehicle documents continues to apply.
 
Tyres with extra high load capacity
The "C" in the term C tyres stands for "commercial". These tyres are specially designed for commercial vehicles. These can be, for example, lighter trucks, delivery vans, flatbed trucks or panel vans. In other words: vehicles that have to move higher loads at a comparatively lower speed. The multi-ply reinforced C tyres are therefore even more load-bearing than reinforced tyres.
 
Mobility-optimised tyres
A tyre with a sealing layer on the opposite side of the tyre tread. In the event of a puncture (e.g. by a nail), this layer blocks any loss of air, even if the foreign body causing the puncture is still in the tyre. It is not necessary to stop or change the tyres immediately at the roadside.

Got them because of the price. Would never buy them again or tell someone to. Ride quality is awful, gas mileage went down, the noise is terrible, if the road is wet they're useless, without 4 wheel drive you're going no where. I drive 75% on road and 25% off road overall just not a good tire wouldn't recommend it.

The tires are decent for the road, but are great for off road. They can really sling dirt. they also have just the right amount of grip on the road because I'm always in control, but I can easily break the back end loos when I want to have some fun.

after 6 months of hardley any driving, and NO OFF ROAD, these tires are bald and ripped up. The price was right, but I guess its the old "you get what you pay for".

Excellent tyres. I tried the General Grabber having previously had Michelin Cross Climate and Geolander. The Grabber is a much better all round tyre for highway and countryside driving. The chunky tyre in no way seems any louder and overall driving is excellent. We have only had a few snow days this year and the tyres were good (on an AWD vehicle) although it wasn&#39;t much of a test to trial them out.

Replacement for a previous set of Grabber2&#39;s which I&#39;d been very happy with. Hadn&#39;t expected the Grabber3&#39;s to be such a big improvement. Excellent tyres, have improved the drive of my Range Rover considerably.

Dry tarmac grip is good and pretty good when wet too although it aquaplanes more readily than I like. Good grip on rough and loose tracks. Can&#39;t really comments on fuel economy, noise or wear.

Very good &quot;On Road&quot; manners in all general conditions, with a low noise levels. Excellent on dry Green Lane tracks. ( take you anywhere an AT or MT tyre will go). Good grip on muddy inclines, wet grass and slippery surfaces in general. Do not damage unmade tracks or surfaces, off road, when driven with care. Looking forward to using them in snowy conditions. In my view they are a really good general Road / Off Road tyre.

Great tyre really looks good on the car, 1 to 2cm larger diameter when compared to my unused Bridgestone Dueller spare, is this the reason for poor fuel consumption rating?

Big improvement over factory fitted Duelers, fuel enconomy may have dropped by 1 to 2 mpg. but these tyres are actually a bigger diameter than duelers approx 1 to 2 cms.
