Compared to winter tyres, the rubber mixture of the summer tyres is harder, even in high temperatures. Identify the size of your tyre
The exact dimensions of a tyre can be found on the sidewall printed mark. The graphic shows how to read properties and dimensions of the tyre:

SPEED INDEX:
The speed index indicates the maximum speed intended for the tyre. Up to this value, the manufacturer guarantees optimum operation with the appropriate tyre pressure. The maximum speed allowed for this vehicle is given in the vehicle owner's manual; this information can be used to select the appropriate speed index for the tyre. The speed index is the last mark on the sidewall of the tyre.
 
Load Index
Permissible maximum axle load per tyre in kg. To be found in the registration certificate or vehicle registration document or read directly from the tyre (two-digit number). It is permitted to fit a tyre with a higher load index.
 
Driving safety despite puncture
Runflat tyres are puncture-resistant tyres with reinforced sidewalls. This creates the so-called run-flat property. In the event of damage, this allows the vehicle to continue driving up to a distance of approx. 100 km (and even beyond depending on the product) at a maximum speed of 80 km/h, even if the pressure has been completely lost. Run-flat tyres even prevent the tyre rubber from jumping off the rim in the event of a loss of air pressure. A flat tyre is therefore still a flat tyre, but it loses some of its drama. Note: All run-flat tyres are marked with the symbol "RSC" (Runflat System Component) and may only be fitted in vehicles with a functioning air pressure control system!
 
Tyres with increased load capacity
Reinforced tyres are designed for higher loads than normal tyres. They can be identified by the designation 'RF' (reinforced) or also 'XL' or 'Extra Load'. They are used on vans, minibuses, off-road vehicles, etc. However, their mounting alone does not automatically result in higher load capacity but also requires a correspondingly higher air pressure. Furthermore, the load capacity index specified in the vehicle documents continues to apply.
 
Tyres with extra high load capacity
The "C" in the term C tyres stands for "commercial". These tyres are specially designed for commercial vehicles. These can be, for example, lighter trucks, delivery vans, flatbed trucks or panel vans. In other words: vehicles that have to move higher loads at a comparatively lower speed. The multi-ply reinforced C tyres are therefore even more load-bearing than reinforced tyres.
 
Mobility-optimised tyres
A tyre with a sealing layer on the opposite side of the tyre tread. In the event of a puncture (e.g. by a nail), this layer blocks any loss of air, even if the foreign body causing the puncture is still in the tyre. It is not necessary to stop or change the tyres immediately at the roadside.

Original equipment quality: optimum adjustment to the vehicle
Tyres with a special OEM marking on the sidewall, e.g. "MO" for Mercedes-Benz, were developed in cooperation with a specific car manufacturer and the tyre industry. These tyres have been homologated by the vehicle manufacturer and are a perfect match for a specific model. They have been specially designed to highlight or further improve the performance characteristics of the car in question, thus representing the culmination of a state-of-the-art fine-tuning process that perfectly complements the latest technological developments in the automotive industry. Tyres with manufacturer's markings can of course also be used on other vehicles.

just after 7months of normal use you see what happened in the photo below. The Continental in greece refused to renew it so i have to pay 160 euros to put a new one. NEVER continental tires again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Excellent driving experience on these tyres. They feel safe, sturdy and solid on the road in heat, heavy rain, slippery roads due to mud, country roads, uneven and good surfaces, I have not yet tried in snow or ice. To any walkers reading this, they feel like vibram soles for my car!

A solid tyre I&#39;ve refitted to the car several times already. Excellent grip on wet and dry and more comfortable than the SportContact they replaced with marginal difference in performance. Only difference felt was feeling marginally more tyre wall flex if driving very hard in corners but a lovely balance for comfort and excellent grip. They are slightly louder than other tyres which is a minus but worth it for overall performance. Very predictable behaviour wet and dry. Only other downside is Conti shipping tyres with slightly lower than average new tread which makes it a bit more expensive over the life than similar priced tyres from other brands.

The tire works quite well on normal asphalt, but on dirt roads the lateral grip is poor. The tire is loud on the highway. The tire wears out really quickly, so I won&#39;t buy it again.

Never before had tyres only last 6500kms on my WRX thought it was my wheel alignment had that checked and it was fine massive camber ware when I&#39;m only running 0.5 neg and rear tyres are at less then 50% left so definitely would not recommend at all cheap yes gets you outta trouble but not worth it

These Trazano Z107 tyres were initially adequate as budget tyres but over time they have become noisy at speed and wet grip is now atrocious - with 5mm of tread still on the tyre. A regrettable purchase. I will revert to my usual Pirelli Cinturato which performed admirably right down to the tread wear markers. Lesson learned.

I chose this tyre as the design is sympathetic to my modern classic car and benefits from the advanced tyre technology and manufacturing quality of the brand owner Continental Tyres. Still riding on the original 28 year old Michelin MXV2 rubber, my main motivation in replacing the tyres was safety, but I wasn&#39;t expecting much of a change in handling. However, I am pleased to report that ride comfort, steering precision, dry road grip and ride comfort have all improved dramatically. My mileage so far is not sufficient to comment on wear or wet road grip.

I have been buying Nankang tyres for all the cars in the family (5) for over 10 years. They are as good as any top brand tyre and normally half the price They perform just as well and last just as long. My collegue always buys top brands tyres yet he does not get any more mileage out of his. I have a selection of family car, SUV and saloons. These tyres perform perfectly well on all types of car. I will continue to by NanKang because they work and are very well priced

Excellent non run flat option for BMWs. Superior wet and cold weather grip compared to the standard fit of continental ssr3 runflats. SSR3s are fantastic in dry but deadly in cold and wet. Nankangs outperform in all areas only matched by the grip. I have used Nankangs for 20 years.
