All season tyres - suitable for all weather conditions
All-season tyres are the perfect combination between summer and winter tyres. All-season tyres impress by their good driving qualities regardless the weather conditions and the road. The specially developed profile of all-season tyres ensures a comfortable drive throughout the whole year. All-season tyres were specifically designed for all weather conditions thus eliminating the need to change the tyres depending on the season. Discover the new alternative to summer and winter tyres: the all-season tyres. We have a wide offer from leading manufacturers at top prices! The all-season tyres designed for winter conditions need to have the "M + S" marking (or M & S, MS). Some models may also have the snowflake symbol. M + S tyres with snowflake symbol meet the higher quality standards.
 
Identify the size of your tyre
The exact dimensions of a tyre can be found on the sidewall printed mark. The graphic shows how to read properties and dimensions of the tyre:

SPEED INDEX:
The speed index indicates the maximum speed intended for the tyre. Up to this value, the manufacturer guarantees optimum operation with the appropriate tyre pressure. The maximum speed allowed for this vehicle is given in the vehicle owner's manual; this information can be used to select the appropriate speed index for the tyre. The speed index is the last mark on the sidewall of the tyre.
 
Load Index
Permissible maximum axle load per tyre in kg. To be found in the registration certificate or vehicle registration document or read directly from the tyre (two-digit number). It is permitted to fit a tyre with a higher load index.
 
Driving safety despite puncture
Runflat tyres are puncture-resistant tyres with reinforced sidewalls. This creates the so-called run-flat property. In the event of damage, this allows the vehicle to continue driving up to a distance of approx. 100 km (and even beyond depending on the product) at a maximum speed of 80 km/h, even if the pressure has been completely lost. Run-flat tyres even prevent the tyre rubber from jumping off the rim in the event of a loss of air pressure. A flat tyre is therefore still a flat tyre, but it loses some of its drama. Note: All run-flat tyres are marked with the symbol "RSC" (Runflat System Component) and may only be fitted in vehicles with a functioning air pressure control system!
 
Tyres with increased load capacity
Reinforced tyres are designed for higher loads than normal tyres. They can be identified by the designation 'RF' (reinforced) or also 'XL' or 'Extra Load'. They are used on vans, minibuses, off-road vehicles, etc. However, their mounting alone does not automatically result in higher load capacity but also requires a correspondingly higher air pressure. Furthermore, the load capacity index specified in the vehicle documents continues to apply.
 
Tyres with extra high load capacity
The "C" in the term C tyres stands for "commercial". These tyres are specially designed for commercial vehicles. These can be, for example, lighter trucks, delivery vans, flatbed trucks or panel vans. In other words: vehicles that have to move higher loads at a comparatively lower speed. The multi-ply reinforced C tyres are therefore even more load-bearing than reinforced tyres.
 
Mobility-optimised tyres
A tyre with a sealing layer on the opposite side of the tyre tread. In the event of a puncture (e.g. by a nail), this layer blocks any loss of air, even if the foreign body causing the puncture is still in the tyre. It is not necessary to stop or change the tyres immediately at the roadside.

Incredibly capable tyre for all conditions, but my experience on the roads in West Yorkshire will probably dictate that I don&#39;t purchase these tyres again as they are too soft on the sidewall, they do need some sort of protective band. The roads a terrible around Haworth for potholes, and in this case I could not dodge one and it has ripped the sidewall and damaged the rim, rendering the tyre scrap.

We run multiple brand new vehicles and the first thing we do is take off the existing brand new tyres and replace all of them with Nokian Seasonproof. These tyres are without doubt the best tyres we have ever used. In the dry they grip like a racing car and in the wet they grip equally as good given the weather. When it gets icy or snow on the ground there is little to touch these Tyres. They wear extremely well given their amazing traction in all conditions. I cannot begin to impress upon people how important tyres are on a vehicle. The part that connects you to the road and the component that can make the difference between a collision or not. These are the best all-round all season tyres on the market.We have covered around 100,000 miles on these in total. I don&#39;t like advertising peoples wares but in this case given how good the product is and how it alters the safety of the vehicle people need to know about them.

I&#39;ll be honest I&#39;ve never purchased all season or winter tyres before, I&#39;ve always made do with mid range to premium summer tyres. During winter I&#39;ve very rarely struggled in snow with summer tyres but after fitting the Goodyear Vector 4 Seasons Gen-3 tyres the performance in snow is night and day, no sliding, very little loss of traction and braking distance is vastly reduced. These tyres are fantastic, it&#39;s too soon to comment on wear rate which will possibly play a factor in if I purchase again but so far so good. I would highly recommend them too anyone.

I have front set of 2 tires 1 year and around 20000km old, and rear set 6 months and around 10000km. Tyres are excellent for my car on dry and wet. There&#39;s not much snow in this part of England, but was some WET snow last winter and tyres were good on start and in curves but on braking just slide (wet snow i suppose). I have been on the road trip this summer 5000km+, and tyres aren&#39;t worn at all. Good grip in curves on motorway at high speed (up to 180 km/h) on dry and wet.

Initially not that impressed but after an adjustment period/ bedding in found the tyre to be very consistent in almost all conditions. Only slightly let down in tight roundabout wet conditions (has a tendency to go into very slight understeer) but not always. Tyre performance seems very sensitive to maintaining the correct/ recommended tyre pressures. In recent days the temperature has dropped to just about freezing where these tyres have really started to show their winter biased abilities. Great grip and response ind dry and cold wet conditions. One worthy point to add to potential purchasers is that I thought I had purchased the &quot;seal inside&quot; version but had not. This stock of old and new by tyre suppliers is frustrating. Other than that I would recommend the tyre for the sensible non sporty driver.

Very well when snowing, not so good when snow is on the road much more than 10cm. Much better on dry or wet. No big difference between dry or wet road. Very comfort driving cross curvess with normal speed. I am very satisfied.

My car has the DSG gearbox and on normal tyres was useless in snow, I fitted these tyres and it was usable on the one occasion we had snow. It&rsquo;s also better in frosty weather and the tyres give good grip in the dry and seem to be wearing well, very pleased so far

Good all season tyres for a daily use, a little bit weak on snow, but i have mild winter. A good surprise on wet, good aquaplaning safety margin. And with my driving style, the wear in front wheels is still uniformed. The only problem is that these tyres are now very hard to find in France, and there was at 56 euros each on june 2022, 83 euros each nowadays...
