All season tyres - suitable for all weather conditions
All-season tyres are the perfect combination between summer and winter tyres. All-season tyres impress by their good driving qualities regardless the weather conditions and the road. The specially developed profile of all-season tyres ensures a comfortable drive throughout the whole year. All-season tyres were specifically designed for all weather conditions thus eliminating the need to change the tyres depending on the season. Discover the new alternative to summer and winter tyres: the all-season tyres. We have a wide offer from leading manufacturers at top prices! The all-season tyres designed for winter conditions need to have the "M + S" marking (or M & S, MS). Some models may also have the snowflake symbol. M + S tyres with snowflake symbol meet the higher quality standards.
 
Identify the size of your tyre
The exact dimensions of a tyre can be found on the sidewall printed mark. The graphic shows how to read properties and dimensions of the tyre:

SPEED INDEX:
The speed index indicates the maximum speed intended for the tyre. Up to this value, the manufacturer guarantees optimum operation with the appropriate tyre pressure. The maximum speed allowed for this vehicle is given in the vehicle owner's manual; this information can be used to select the appropriate speed index for the tyre. The speed index is the last mark on the sidewall of the tyre.
 
Load Index
Permissible maximum axle load per tyre in kg. To be found in the registration certificate or vehicle registration document or read directly from the tyre (two-digit number). It is permitted to fit a tyre with a higher load index.
 
Driving safety despite puncture
Runflat tyres are puncture-resistant tyres with reinforced sidewalls. This creates the so-called run-flat property. In the event of damage, this allows the vehicle to continue driving up to a distance of approx. 100 km (and even beyond depending on the product) at a maximum speed of 80 km/h, even if the pressure has been completely lost. Run-flat tyres even prevent the tyre rubber from jumping off the rim in the event of a loss of air pressure. A flat tyre is therefore still a flat tyre, but it loses some of its drama. Note: All run-flat tyres are marked with the symbol "RSC" (Runflat System Component) and may only be fitted in vehicles with a functioning air pressure control system!
 
Tyres with increased load capacity
Reinforced tyres are designed for higher loads than normal tyres. They can be identified by the designation 'RF' (reinforced) or also 'XL' or 'Extra Load'. They are used on vans, minibuses, off-road vehicles, etc. However, their mounting alone does not automatically result in higher load capacity but also requires a correspondingly higher air pressure. Furthermore, the load capacity index specified in the vehicle documents continues to apply.
 
Tyres with extra high load capacity
The "C" in the term C tyres stands for "commercial". These tyres are specially designed for commercial vehicles. These can be, for example, lighter trucks, delivery vans, flatbed trucks or panel vans. In other words: vehicles that have to move higher loads at a comparatively lower speed. The multi-ply reinforced C tyres are therefore even more load-bearing than reinforced tyres.
 
Mobility-optimised tyres
A tyre with a sealing layer on the opposite side of the tyre tread. In the event of a puncture (e.g. by a nail), this layer blocks any loss of air, even if the foreign body causing the puncture is still in the tyre. It is not necessary to stop or change the tyres immediately at the roadside.

These are a thoroughly dependable tyre and the Expert 2 (and the later Expert 3) are superb tyres. In addition to the stated vehicle I have a set on my wife&#39;s 2014 Audi A3 and our &#39;spare car&#39; a 2009 Fiat Panda 4x4. They are all on all year round and have acceptable wear even in hot summers

I am a careful driver. Mostly urban with some motorway driving. The tyres I chose are all season. Whilst I live in Edinburgh City, when snow falls I need to drive 800m and up 2 hills in order to get to a road that is kept clear and often there are cars and a bus strewn across the road. Amazing but true. These tyres have allowed me to bypass these cars and proceed to the swept roadway. 2 times this winter. Scarcely believable that people don&#39;t know how to drive in the snow. They are sure footed in frost too.

We have owned this car for almost 11 years now and the last 9 years have been on firstly Uniroyal MS+77 205/55 R16 91H and then for the last 3 years on AllSeason Expert 2 which is a vastly improved tyre. The latter is so much quieter and returns improved fuel consumption and I believe better grip in wintry conditions

Originally on rear axle for approx 2 k miles, no wear at all. Now on front axle, grip and feedback in wet and dry in great, including on gravelly / light muddy patches in country parking areas and in cold weather. Most impressive aspect of the Vredesteins is the directional stability ( steering centring) and also quietness on the front axle compared to the neatly new Nankang all weather tyres that were on beforehand. No snow this year so not tested on snow! Highly recommended.

All round good tyre, quite noisy on the highway though. Three out of four tyres developed sidewall dents that I read are just a cosmetic defect luckily.

I drive mostly in the city at low speeds however when taking to motorways in the UK I drive at 70MPH and in Europe at 75MPH. The drive is smooth and fuel economy is excellent, tyre wear is good and noise levels within the car is minimal.

Excellent safe and fun. You need to give warning when it won&rsquo;t arrive for weeks before the customer pays though. I was stuck without something suitable. It&rsquo;s not acceptable.

Incredibly capable tyre for all conditions, but my experience on the roads in West Yorkshire will probably dictate that I don&#39;t purchase these tyres again as they are too soft on the sidewall, they do need some sort of protective band. The roads a terrible around Haworth for potholes, and in this case I could not dodge one and it has ripped the sidewall and damaged the rim, rendering the tyre scrap.

I found this tire to be one of the best all round tires available. No matter the weather the car always felt sure footed. My Octavia was the Vrs model so had plenty of horsepower to transmit, and the Cross Climates made easy work of doing that. High speed driving was safe and quiet as was cornering. A fabulous tire! Only regret is the limited sizes because I can&#39;t get them to fit my Fabia Monte Carlo Estate else I would be running them on that as well.

These BF Goodrich All Season 4 grip tyres are not only unbeatable in the snow, they give fantastic mileage at a very reasonable price. I run them all year round on my Model 3 Performance - they have lasted around 30,000 miles but are now ready for changing and if I can get them delivered (thank you Brexit!), I will have four more exactly the same!
